What makes your work special?
At LetterPerfect, our team aren't just excellent writers; every one of them has finely tuned ears as well. Our backgrounds in theatre and television give us the skills to find your unique voice and bring it out loud and clear. No matter if it's an executive speech, a company biography or a simple one-sheet, we know how to make your writing sing. So whether your words will exist on the page or on the stage, LetterPerfect hands you writing that works. Every time.
Okay, how exactly do we do this?
Once we agree on the scope of the assignment and receive your deposit, we'll develop a Creative Brief to guide us through your project. You fax or email us your work in whatever stage it's in, as well as any other required background material, and we'll take it from there.
We'll send you email or fax versions (your choice) for your review; the final copy will be sent to you in digital form for you to retain for future use.
Who owns the work that you do?
LetterPerfect performs work for hire; you bought it, you own it. We may ask your permission to use your project as an example for our own marketing materials. Of course, you have the right to refuse that request, or to ask us to change your company name or other identifiers. Client confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us, and we will honor yours without exception.
What if I don't like what you write?
Every job includes one round of revisions, to address whatever issues might still need some fine-tuning. In the case of script and speech writing, we also offer "rehearsal" time where we work with you in person (if feasible) or over the phone to refine and polish your presentation.
It is extremely unusual for a LetterPerfect client not to be satisfied with the final result. However, if for some reason you feel we just haven't nailed it, we will refund all monies paid to that point. (But we're pretty confident it won't come to that.)
Can you help us with graphic design, too?
LetterPerfect specializes in crafting precise and powerful written business communications. However, our extensive background in advertising, marketing and graphic design means we can always lend an eye toward the visual aspect of your product and give you feedback on that as well. In addition, we work with a number of top-flight designers who can be brought in to consult on graphic issues.
I really want good writing, but my company is too small to afford your rates. Can you offer me a discount as a small business?
We have taken great care to research our specialized field of service and feel we offer a superior value in terms of the work provided for the fees received. We do not offer discounts based on business size or other weighted factors, because we deliver the same quality of work for all our clients, large or small. We do try to accommodate the limited budgets of qualified non-profit organizations; please email us for more details.
We usually work with people who are experts in our field. How are you qualified to write about our yak-breeding and plumbing cooperative?
Our team possesses a broad knowledge of subject areas across multiple industries. Of course, we're not experts in everything - but be careful what you wish for. Your business communications usually need to reach the average reader who (even if she is your customer) doesn't know as much about your business as you do.
We will absorb whatever we need to know about your business, but we've learned never to make the assumption that your readers have done the same.
How long will it take you to do my project - I need it yesterday!
At LetterPerfect, we pride ourselves on our responsiveness and no-time-wasted work ethic. However, we usually have 2-4 weeks of projects lined up and in process at any given time. As soon as you realize "it's gotta be LetterPerfect," let us know so we can make sure to find the space on our calendar for you.
We would never shortchange your project because someone else is in a hurry; we won't do the reverse, either. Please call us as soon as you know you need us and we'll all be happier!
